Use this page to inspect Japan's analog-regulation review: legal requirements that force paper, in-person, visual inspection, or other non-digital processes.

Who is counted
Regulatory provisions and laws identified in the government's analog-regulation review.
What the number means
Counts and shares show how many provisions have been reviewed, already revised, marked as needing revision, or excluded from the target set.
How to read it
Higher already-revised counts are progress. Higher needs-revision shares indicate remaining legal backlog, not adoption success.
Why it matters
Digital services can be blocked by laws that still require analog steps. Revising those rules is prerequisite work for actual digitalization.
